About the treatment

Thought Field Therapy (TFT) is a revolutionary treatment that brings rapid relief and resolution. This is a powerful, natural, drug-free, non-invasive and effective technique to alleviate negative emotions and stress.

A successful treatment leaves you with a feeling of liberation or peace of mind, so you can live your life happily. It is often referred to as the Power Therapy of the 21st century because of its high degree of effectiveness. TFT involves tapping energy points on the upper body, hands and/or face and specific eye movements, to achieve its impressive results. Most clients receive complete relief from their suffering, often within minutes. TFT does not erase the memory of anxiety or trauma. It simply removes any bad feeling that is associated by eliminating the anxiety and the root cause of the problem.

During the initial consultation, we discuss which negative emotion (anxiety, anger, grief etc.) is bothering you and work out what the root cause of it is. I will then ask you to think of your problem, tuning into a Thought Field. You will be asked to rate the discomfort on a scale from 1-10, with 10 being the highest level of discomfort and 1 being no worries at all.

I will lead you through a sequence of tapping on specific energy meridian points on your body, i.e. you will copy what I am doing while sitting opposite me. Then, I will ask you to think of the problem again and rate your discomfort once more. Depending on how much better your emotion is on the scale, I will show you another set of points to tap on your body. Again, you rate the discomfort on the 1-10 scale and we keep tapping specific points until - in an ideal scenario - you no longer feel upset about the situation at all. This usually works after a few tapping sequences all in the same session.

After a successful treatment, the negative emotion has gone. This should have a knock-on effect on everyday life and relationships in the future. It is very much like starting with a clean slate. The old memory will still be present, but the negative emotion you previously had will no longer be attached to it. When you remember the trigger situation next time, it no longer affects you like it did before.

Does this sound too good to be true? TFT is that quick and effective that most clients only need between 1-3 sessions to deal with the problem they have. Successful treatments leave you feeling calm and relaxed.

In some cases, we may come across Individual Energy Toxins (IETs) during or after the treatment. This can hold up a treatment. If this is the case we need to find out which substance is affecting your energy system. It could be something you have eaten, drank or inhaled, that has disrupted the body’s energetic control system, and therefore prevents anxiety in certain Thought Fields from being deactivated permanently. All we need to do is find out what it was and avoid contact with it for a while, allowing your energy system to restore itself.
